The process students must follow to apply to Murdoch University will vary depending on their current circumstances and what course they want to study:
If a student is applying for an undergraduate degree and is from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Ghana, Iran, Vietnam, Kenya, Bhutan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Rwanda, or Zimbabwe, they must apply via an agent. Alternatively, if they are from Sri Lanka or China, they must also complete as well as attach a Genuine Student Evaluation Form to their application.
If a student wishes to complete an honour’s or postgraduate program, they can apply directly to Murdoch through the university’s online application system. All applicants for honours degrees (apart from those students who study psychology or engineering honours) will need to additionally complete as well as attach an Honours Application form to their application.
If a student wants to apply for a research course, they must first have chosen their topic, found a supervisor and written their proposal before they can apply, at any time during the year, through Murdoch’s Graduate Research Office.

Murdoch provides a range of scholarships on offer for commencing and existing International students. Eligible students could receive a scholarship up to the value of AUD 11,000.

International Welcome Scholarship
An International Welcome Scholarship can provide up to AUD 11,000 towards a student’s tuition fees if the student is eligible.

The university offers AUD 8,000 scholarships for all other eligible programs.
Recipients of these scholarships will have the award amount paid into their student tuition account in four instalments over two years.
These scholarships are available for the 2019 intake period, for eligible students starting their studies at one of Murdoch’s Western Australian campuses.
Murdoch University Academic Excellence Awards
Murdoch University Academic Excellence Awards offer students AUD 5,000 towards their degree if they have a record of high academic achievement in their previous studies.
Murdoch also provides course specific and research scholarships, with a range of other scholarships and financial aid available in conjunction with the Australian government.
