Who is the programme for?

The BA is the first step to having a successful career in business and management. If you’re aspiring to become a leader in business or obtain senior management positions, this programme is the first step. You will expand your knowledge of business and develop the skill set needed to build and grow an organisation, particularly in a globalised world.

The programme is also ideal for those interested in pursuing a postgraduate qualification including an MSc in Business Management, an MBA or Chartered Management Institution’s postgraduate qualifications.

How will you learn?

Besides the traditional methods of lectures and seminars, GISMA also offers students access to our Virtual Learning Environment, Elite. This enables you to learn outside the classroom by accessing an abundance of study materials. You will also be required to collaborate with others through group projects.

In addition to these methods, you will also have access to our online library facilities and learning resources from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Financial Times.

Programme structure

During your first year, you will be introduced to the foundation elements of Business Management through modules such as Essentials of Management and Principles of Marketing. Years 2 and 3 will build on the knowledge you acquired in your first year and help you develop your understanding of the areas you are particularly interested in through several elective modules.

From the start of your programme, GISMA and The University of Law focus on creating individuals that are employable and have excellent potential in the workplace. You will find that throughout your programme, various modules focus on improving your employability.

Cost of Accommodation

While living and studying in Germany, the students can explore various accommodation options, out of many the most popular options include flat or house share.

  • The international students can apply and pay for the ‘GISMA Berlin Starter Package’, the cost of package includes 2 months’ rent, 1-month deposit, Airport pick-up and 1-month public transportation pass (which will be valid on bus, tram, and trains in Berlin).
  • The total cost of this package is 1,850 Euro and in case the student’s visa for Germany gets rejected for some reason, then they will get a refund worth 1,650 Euro and 200 Euro will be deducted as an administration fee.
  • The Student Hotel- Berlin: The Student Hotel (TSH) has a tie-up with GISMA to offer accommodation to the students at the discounted rates; the students can save 6% on accommodation prices of up to Euro 550 a year at TSH.
