This course gives you a practical grounding in a range of business disciplines such as accounting, human resource management, operations management and marketing. Assignments and activities undertaken are designed to simulate real business situations so that you can prepare for your future career and put your learning into practice.
Course Details
This two year course is a nationally recognised qualification in the UK, offering a broad-based and practical set of business modules.
The HND is a traditional taught programme of six modules per stage over two years. The course focuses on the development and assessment of practical skills relevant to a wide range of business careers.
Methods of Learning
Two years full-time. Approved work-based learning may reduce the class contact hours.

University of Northampton Application Process
Basic Admission Requirements
- Certified transcripts of high school/college/university
- One reference required
- Statement of Purpose depicting the interest of the applicant in the chosen course
- MBA applicants must also have a proof of work experience
- Arts and design applicant must also submit their portfolio
The Result of Language Tests for English Proficiency from all the international applicants. The exams valid are IELTS, TOEFL iBT and Pearson PTE. Following are the minimum scores required in IELTS to gain admission:

Additional Requirements
