About Brock University

One of Canada's top post-secondary universities is Brock University. This public research institution, which is based in the Niagara region, was created in 1964 after the Ontario Legislative Assembly passed the Brock University Act. It is the only institution in the nation located in the heart of the Canadian Niagara Peninsula on the Niagara Escarpment, which is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. According to U.S. News and World Report's Best Global University Rankings for the year 2019, the university came in at position 1010.

There are 8 residential complexes on the Brock University campus in St. Catharines, which is home to about 2,500 students. The university also has a campus in Hamilton, an Ontario city. It features a gym, a board room, a learning resource centre, a library, spacious classrooms, up-to-date computer laboratories, faculty offices, meeting spaces, catering services, and greenery.

Numerous undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, and doctoral programmes are available at Brock University in Canada. With almost 19,000 students enrolled in seven different faculties, it offers a quality of education unmatched by any other Canadian university. The MICA (Mathematics Integrated with Computing and Applications) programme is exclusively available at this university. Even the institution's Department of Health Sciences grants Canada's sole undergraduate public health degree.

More than 70 undergraduate and 50 graduate programmes are available through the university. The institution employs about 6,000 people on a full- and part-time basis. 600 academic members, including 8 Canada Research Chairs and 12 professors with 3M Teaching Fellowship Awards, make up its impressive faculty team. Students have access to awards and bursaries totaling more than $11 million annually thanks to a number of programmes.

A volunteer Board of Directors runs the university's alumni association.
