The University of South Australia was founded in 1991 and is a public research university affiliated with Universities Australia, the Australian Technology Network, and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The South Australian Institute of Technology and the South Australian College of Advanced Education were combined to create the university. The business, law, management, commerce, architecture, pharmacy, and creative arts departments, as well as numerous research centres, are all located on the university's main campus.
