About Northern College

In 1967, Northern College first opened its doors. It is a member of numerous esteemed organisations, including CCAA, ACCC, and AUCC. Every student, with the exception of those in their first semester, is required to complete a survey in February of each year, rating how satisfied they were with the events and programmes held on campus. Here, students can express their opinions about other students, the college's atmosphere, and the staff members that work there.

Northern College has four campuses spread across the state of Ontario, Canada. Each campus concentrates on a certain area of study to create a solid foundation for the discipline. Haileybury Campus: At the Haileybury Campus, students pursue their education at the cutting-edge Veterinary Sciences Center. They have modern technology in their labs, like an underwater treadmill. In Ontario, it is the only college that offers a wildlife rehabilitation programme.

The Moosonee Campus offers James Bay coastal communities high-skill training in the trades, technology, and apprenticeship programmes. Kirkland Lake Campus: The school of welding engineering is becoming recognised on a global scale for the calibre of its instruction. It is the first institution in North America to be given permission to teach welding to pupils. Timmins Campus: This campus, which debuted in 2010, is the most recent to be established by the college. It specialises in offering cutting-edge courses in technological engineering and trades. It is the ideal fusion of an urban and country atmosphere.

Business and office administration, community services, engineering technology and trades, health sciences and emergency services, veterinary sciences, welding engineering technology, and post-secondary preparation are among the fields that Northern College offers programmes in. Its fee schedule goes from 2 lakh to 8 lakh rupees. The college offers a number of scholarships to its students, including the BrokerFish International Student Scholarship, the Go Clean Scholarship, and the Global Study Awards. The students can choose between single, double, or suite accommodations. The college is situated not far from where people live in the cities. Apartments, villas, and short-term housing units surround the campuses and provide amenities like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, television, refrigerators, etc.

While completing the course, the students are free to apply for positions on campus as well as work at nearby businesses on a part-time basis. If they are interested, the students who completed their post-graduate degree at the college may later join its faculty committee. When they leave Northern College as alumni, students are promised a fulfilling and successful career and life.
