In 1967, Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology first welcomed students. It provides both full-time and part-time programmes at the certificate, graduate, baccalaureate, and diploma levels. Seneca College has other campuses located around Peterborough and the Greater Toronto Area in addition to its four major campuses. One of the biggest campuses in Canada is Seneca's in Newnham.
