Bedfordshire University is a public university based in Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire, England with a high quality education history spanning more than 100 years. The institution has origins since 1882 and in 1992 it acquired University status as University of Luton. The name changed to the University of Bedfordshire in 2006.
University of Bedfordshire has around 14,000 students in 5 campuses including approximately 4,500 international students.
There are 3 campuses in Bedfordshire, Bedford and Luton, and two campuses in Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury (for students studying nursing and midwifery), and Milton Keynes (where business studies, electronics and telecommunications are taught).
Luton campus : Situated in the heart of the town centre

Luton
The town of Luton is packed with cultural diversity. It has plenty of bars and restaurants, an 11-screen movie theater, bowling alleys, a shopping mall and indoor market, a football stadium and other sports venues, and a vibrant arts and cultural scene based around the Cultural Quarter.
Reach: Luton lies just 50 km north of London-the capital is only a 30 minute train journey away. In addition, London Luton Airport is only 2.5 km away from the main Luton campus.
Attractions: Luton's surrounding area boasts a wealth of parks and open spaces, including ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, Dunstable Downs, Wardown Park and Luton Hoo's stately home.
Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes (MK) is a city-sized town in Buckinghamshire also the fastest growing places in UK.
Attractions :Milton Keynes is home to many high-tech companies, it offers great shopping facilities, art exhibitions, musicals, canal-side promenades and great sports facilities.
Aylesbury
The town of Aylesbury bursts with culture, international cuisine and clubs. It consists theatres, indoor karting facilities, galleries, and regular concerts.
Reach : Aylesbury has excellent transport links which make it easy to reach. Just 40 miles from London, Aylesbury is conveniently located within an hour's drive of London Heathrow Airport and London Luton Airport.
Putteridge Bury
Putteridge Bury is situated in a picturesque parkland offering a lovely rural environment.
Reach : just a few miles from the train station, M1, Luton town centre and London Luton Airport.The University runs a free shuttle bus for staff and students from the Luton campus (Vicarage Street) to Putteridge Bury.
University of Bedfordshire offers modern and comfortable on-campus accommodation for all students. Large numbers of rooms are available at both Bedford and Luton campuses. Both Luton and Bedford and the surrounding areas are well equipped with a lot of private rented student houses and apartments.
High quality teaching is one of the biggest reasons why students come to Bedfordshire. Many of Bed's highly qualified academic staff have received the National Teaching Fellowship Awards for their outstanding contribution to teaching and learning.
