Plymouth University is a public university based mainly in Plymouth, England. Founded as the School of Navigation in 1862, it is now the 15th largest university in the United Kingdom with over 19,000 students and 2500 staff.

The Research Excellence Framework ranks nearly two-thirds of the research undertaken by the University of Plymouth as either world-leading or internationally excellent.

University of Plymouth Campus

The spectacular campus of the University of Plymouth is located between the sea, Cornwall and Dartmoor in the heart of British Ocean City.

The main campus is home to the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business, the Faculty of Science and Engineering, the Faculty of Health and the Union of Students of the University of Plymouth.

North Plymouth Campus is situated four miles north of the main campus and adjacent to Derriford Hospital. Here, you will be taught dietary, occupational treatment, operating department, physiotherapy or podiatry.
