Worcester University is a public research university located in Worcester, United Kingdom. Initially established as a Teacher Training College in 1946, it was granted full university status in 2005.

It is currently one of the fastest growing universities in the United Kingdom with more than 10,000 undergraduate, postgraduate and part-time students.

The University maintains strategic partnerships with a number of prominent local and international institutions, such as Birmingham Metropolitan College in England, Coleg Gwent in Wales and Iron Mill College in Devon. The university also houses a dedicated placement department that aims to provide students with excellent work opportunities.

University of Worcester Campus

The University has three main sites and outdoor teaching center

  •  St John's Campus, 
  • City Campus and 
  • Severn Campus 
  • Lakeside Campus (Outdoor Education Centre)

.The main campus of the university is known as St John's and is the main center for all classes. The campus is situated in the local area of St Johns, Worcester.

The second campus of the university is known as the City Campus and is home to the Worcester Business School. All Worcester Business School courses, including undergraduate and postgraduate courses, are offered here.

 Severn Campus Located between the St John's Campus and the City Campus, it is home to the University Stadium, the Riverside Building and the Garage Art Studios.

The Lakeside Campus is a fantastic outdoor learning and activity center,located in the countryside of Worcestershire, just a 10 minute drive from the main campus. The 50-acre site includes water sports lakes, grass pitches, woodlands and an activity centre.

University of Worcester Scholarships and Financial Aid for International Students

The international students are allowed for a merit-based scholarship to afford their study in the USA. The scholarship amount can be up to USD 15,000 (USD 1,875 per semester for up to eight semesters or upon completion of your degree).

The students will be automatically considered for a merit-based position and will be granted the awards based on their academic credentials. The additional renewal criteria include:

  • At least cumulative grade point average of a 2.5 and continued good academic standing as a member of the campus community
  • Must be a full-time UG student with enrollment in 12 or more day school undergraduate credits, each semester
  • Residency classification as out-of-state for tuition purposes
