About Norquest Collage

NorQuest College is a post-secondary institution in Alberta, Canada. It has around 17,500 students, where over 60 per cent were born outside of Canada.

NorQuest students originate from 131 countries with more than 77 languages spoken at the college’s four campuses (Edmonton, Drayton Valley, White Court and Wetaskiwin).

NorQuest is an inclusive and dynamic hub of learning. Students are given opportunities to develop their skills and confidence to take their studies further or advance their careers.

Students can choose certificate or diploma programs covering areas such as health, business, technology and community studies. They can also pursue English language training or high school academic upgrading courses.

The NorQuest Bridging program is available for students who need additional English language or academic upgrading courses.

NorQuest College Campus

The college has six campuses namely- Drayton Valley campus, Westmount Campus, Edmonton Downtown campus, Wetaskiwin Campus, Whitecourt campus and Correctional campuses.

Edmonton Downtown Campus: offers various courses separately across 5 buildings in its campus.

Drayton Campus

  • Few of the diplomas and certificate courses in subject areas like Academic Upgrading, Business, Community Studies and Health.
  • Support like student advising, financial advising, service for students with disability, emergency counseling services and assessment testing/ exam invigilation etc. are also provided to the students.
  • Almost all the courses offered here are online.

Westmount Campus

  • The West Mount Campus has a significant portion of Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program.
  • All the programs except LINC are offered here are online.
  • Support like student advising, career and employment services, financial advising etc. are also provided to the students.

Wetaskiwin Campus

  • Few of the diplomas and certificate courses in subject areas like Academic Upgrading, Business, Community Studies and Health.
  • Support like student advising, financial advising, service for students with disability, emergency counseling services and assessment testing/ exam invigilation etc. are also provided to the students.
  • Almost all the courses offered here are online.

Whitecourt campus

At Whitecourt campus of NorQuest college, only certificate and diploma programs are offered in several range of subjects including-

Students at Whitecourt Campus are provided with various services such as student advising, financial advising, online tutorial services, etc.

Correctional Campuses

  • The college provides educational services at the Fort Saskatchewan Correctional Centre (FSCC) and the Edmonton Remand Centre (ERC).
  • Around 150 prospective students take admission in academic upgrading, personal development or employment training course every week.

NorQuest College Academic Divisions

NorQuest College offers diplomas and certificates as well as preparatory programs. Programs are offered full-time, part-time, online, and via a hybrid of online and in-person instruction. NorQuest College offers one of the largest and highly rated practical nursing programs within Canada. In addition to health, human services and business career programs, NorQuest offers adult literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), intercultural education, Aboriginal education, academic upgrading, and learner supports for students with disabilities.

NorQuest College Online Scholarship Scholarships can be applied once you have secured your admission. Depending upon the eligibility requirements, a scholarship would be provided for the student credit-wise.
Bursaries and Awards NorQuest college also offers several awards during the academic curriculum.
Blackbaud Award Management NorQuest College contracted with Blackbaud Award Management to offer scholarship to the enrolled NorQuest College students.

Application deadline: The international students whose study plans have been affected by COVID-19 can start their studies from Fall 2020 to Winter 2021 within the same program. The deferral deadline is July 15, 2020.
