The Music Technology BSc course at Coventry University is for you if you have a passion for creative practices in both music and sound and wish to explore the technical realisation of those practices.

The Music technology course  has a long  history of graduates who establish themselves in extremely high profile music, technology and media employment.

Examples of which include: sound designer for the BBC and ITV including Taboo, the Living and the Dead,  composers, sound technologists and sound designers for Hollywood films (Fantastic Beasts, Kingsman: The Royal Circle), postproduction for media outlets and recording studio such as Metropolis as sound engineers. Our students have also done work for charts and won national competitions based on the quality of their undergraduate work. 

Our graduate students pursue careers as composers engineers, artists and sound designers. The music technology degree enables direct progression to suitable courses while others undertake the appropriate qualifications to become teachers in schools and colleges, demonstrators or developers.
