In your first year you will ground your learning in the field, covering a broad range of skills. During your second and third years you will have the opportunity to tailor your degree to suit your interests and career aspirations, in areas such as contemporary business practice, contemporary marketing, market research, and advertising.

  • Study at a CIM Accredited Study Centre and an Institute of Data and Marketing Key Educational Partner. Studying this course will allow you to gain significant exemptions from CIM professional qualification on top of your degree (subject to module choice.
  • Enjoy an international experience linked to your studies with our DMU Global programme. Current marketing embedded trips are ‘Branding in New York’ for final year students and ‘Content and Creativity in Copenhagen’ for second year students, alongside a range of other options. Previous trips have also included Paris, Athens, India, Berlin and San Francisco.
  • Placement opportunities with local, national and global companies. Previous students have landed roles in brand marketing at Goodyear Dunlop and Puma, as a sales intern with Tata Technologies and in product marketing at Vauxhall.

  • Pitch a business idea to real-life entrepreneurs, with the chance to win a cash prize to help set up your venture, through our annual Fox’s Lair competition. This is for first year students, as part of the Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Enterprise module.
  • With a wide range of modules to choose from in your second and third year, you can tailor your degree to suit your aspirations.

Minimum of 65% average in your four best subjects (excluding Hindi) in Standard 12. We may also check your standard 10 results in English and Maths. 

For Engineering courses you will need a minimum of 60% in Maths.  

Advanced entry to year 2 or 3 may be possible. You will need to supply detailed information including courses taken, grades achieved, syllabus and a grading guide.

If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.0 (including a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent is normally required.
