Because electrical engineering is a hands-on profession, you'll take your new theoretical skills into real lab situations where you'll work on electrical, electronic, and digital components in our electrical engineering courses. The co-op component of the program will provide eight months of real world electrician training and an upgrade to a prestigious Advanced Diploma. You'll use cutting-edge technology in your electrician courses to help solve the electrical problems that are vital to our electrical world. Career Opportunities

Graduates of this program are very versatile and may work in an engineering design office with manufacturers of automated equipment, or in the plant engineering departments of process industries such as steel, paper, plastic and chemical. Other opportunities exist with power utilities and with computer and instrumentation manufacturers. Graduates generally work in design but may also be involved in technical sales, maintenance and supervision.

Academic qualification equivalents

  • Class 12 passed students from a recognized board including CBSE, CISCE or a state board
  • All India Senior School Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate/Standard 12 or Indian School Certificate (Year 12) as recognized qualifications
  • Final minimum average of 65.0% based on the highest six Grade 12 University (U) or University/College (M) courses

English language requirements (one of the below):

IELTS: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 5.5  - 7.0 with no score less than 5.0 - 6.5 in reading and listening and a score of 7.0 in writing and speaking, with test results within the last two years
