About Entrepreneurship (m.sc.) in Trinity College Dublin

Designed for those with an entrepreneurial mind set, the programme is unique in addressing ethical behaviour as well as the wellbeing of the entrepreneur amidst the stressful nature of new enterprise development. Students will attain the career skills to better start a new venture, finance new start-ups, support new enterprise development or scale and grow existing businesses.

The course comprises of a variety of core taught modules and numerous elective taught modules.

The course is assessed via a combination of assigned coursework, written examination, and a dissertation or company research project. This project allows students to showcase the knowledge they have gained and enhance their career potential by specialising in a particular area, developing a new business venture or scaling an existing business.

Academic qualification equivalents

  • Hold at least a 2.1 honors degree from an Irish university or equivalent result from a university in another country.

English language requirements (one of the below):

  • IELTS:(academic version) 6.5 (no individual band below 6)
  • TOEFL : Paper-based 570 (with a TWE score of 4.5)  Computer-based 230 (with a score of 4.5 in essay)  Internet-based 90 (with a written score of 21)
