Contents of the course:

In the course of the module, students learn how to use different approaches to examine a market in order to understand it thoroughly. They develop a new communication strategy for their sales team and they create the sales promotional material used. The students are also taught the central concepts of global marketing, innovation and innovation management (especially with regard to the development and launch of new products) as well as the effects of internet marketing and "e-business" on the traditional marketing process.

In addition to other activities and skills that are practiced with the students during the module, they gain practical experience in:

  • How marketing professionals can work more efficiently and more synergistically with sales colleagues within their company
  • How to develop professional advertising materials as well as a first-class plan for the roll-out of a new sales initiative
  • How to prepare and conduct efficient consultations with external experts
  • How to identify, research and apply information and insights that are crucial both for the decision-making process and for the optimal implementation of a global marketing strategy and at a practical level
  • How to create an "information brochure for agencies / dealers" to a very high standard, which contains all the components required here
  • How to develop a first-class presentation in the sense of a "management update", which shows the necessary components of an operational marketing strategy for a globally marketable product, and ultimately also holds this in front of a committee.
