Focus on personnel psychology

Personal psychology is a part of industrial and organizational psychology or business psychology. She focuses on the experience and behavior of people around her workplace. Personal psychologists diagnose individual behaviors and experiences, influence them through psychological interventions and thus contribute to the success of both the individual and the entire organization. Personnel psychology primarily deals with the topics of personnel search, selection, development, evaluation, management and release. Psychologists support human resource management with their specialist knowledge and work closely with labor lawyers, business economists and human resources experts.

Psychology (M.Sc.)

In our Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Psychology, students are prepared for independent work as a psychologist in research and application. For this purpose, we impart to our students in-depth scientific and methodological knowledge (applied research methods, data analysis and evaluation) as well as expanded knowledge in psychodiagnostics (test construction and expert opinion). In addition, specific professional and research qualifications are imparted. The completion of the master's program is also a good prerequisite for a doctorate. This means that the master's degree obtained is a general qualification that allows it to flow into very different fields of work.
