About Graduate Certificate In Marketing Management in McMaster University
This one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate prepares students to thrive in a career in the field of marketing. Students analyze consumer attitudes and behaviours in regards to products and services in a rapidly changing world. Through a creative, flexible and customer-focused approach, students develop an understanding of both domestic and international marketing issues.
Using a variety of learning formats the program is delivered over two 15-week levels. Students act as consultants and complete an industry project where they apply, in a real-world situation, their knowledge and skills to develop a marketing plan and strategy for a local organization. Among other topics, students develop a critical understanding of the competitive and customer-oriented demands of a business, its product and service operations, as well as its marketing processes and resources. Students acquire creative, procedural and critical marketing expertise to generate, implement and evaluate marketing programs to satisfy customer requirements.
Graduates may obtain employment in a variety of for profit and non-profit organizations.
