What is the programme about?

This programme is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and competencies for supervisory management in a hotel front office. A graduate will have developed practical and unique skills to enter the front office operations of businesses in the broad tourism and hotel sectors. 

A compulsory summer work placement within the front office of a hospitality organisation forms part of this programme, giving students hands-on experience and an edge upon graduation.

The programme has professional links with the Irish Hotels Federation, Irish Hospitality Institute and Fáilte Ireland.

Front office and guest services positions offer each candidate the opportunity to communicate on a daily basis with all departments of the hotel, increasing the candidate’s exposure to the full hotel property operation.
