In line with this, the MA in Advanced Social Care Practice will help professionals to develop their skills and competencies in providing the relevant supports and care to those within the social care sector. It aims to support the Continuing Professional Development (CPD), knowledge and skills of Social Care Workers through the pedagogies of Continued Professional Education (CPE).

Academic qualification equivalents

  • Equivalent of Honours Bachelor Degree from a recognised University in a discipline relevant to the postgraduate degree sought with minimum average of 60% in final year examinations. Please check Bachelor degree classification for entry to certain postgraduate programmes.

English language requirements (one of the below):

  • IELTS: Minimum. IELTS Band 6.0 – 6.5 or equivalent English examination (Depending on programme). Kindly refer to individual programme requirements.
  • TOEFL:Minimum iBT 60 – 93. (Depending on programme). Kindly refer to individual programme requirements.
  • PTE:55 (minimum 51 in each component)
