Follow-on Studies: 

Graduates can progress onto the year four of the BSc (honours) degree in Applied Biology and Biopharmaceutical Science at GMIT (subject to availability of places) or other relevant honours degree courses at other Institutes of Technology and universities in Ireland and the UK.

MSc and PhD opportunities are available after graduating with an honours degree.

Essential Information: 

There is no need to have studied Biology at Leaving Certificate level, as the fundamentals of all science subjects are delivered in year one.

Materials Fee
Students will be liable for an additional materials fee of €100 per year for certain full time programmes. This fee is not covered by Granting Authorities. Material Fees are not applicable to either Erasmus, Part-Time or Full time Non-EU students.
