This programme provides you with the technological, financial and managerial education foundations to enable you, in time, to direct the total construction process.

Follow-on Studies: 

A variety of options for progression are available for successful graduates to proceed, through an internal progression route, to year 4 of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Construction Management programme in GMIT or other institutes of technology or universities in Ireland and elsewhere.

Essential Information: 

Recognition by professional bodies
The course is fully recognised by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). Level 7 graduates can immediately become Incorporated Members of the CIOB and with further study and appropriate professional experience can become full Chartered Members.

Work Placement
There is a five month (minimum) work placement during year three.

Materials Fee
Students will be liable for an additional materials fee of €100 per year for certain full time programmes. This fee is not covered by Granting Authorities. Material Fees are not applicable to either Erasmus, Part-Time or Full time Non-EU students.
