Employer Testimonials

-- Ciara McMenamin, Pramerica

As the biggest employer in the North West of Ireland partnered with a global Fortune 50 company, Pramerica is always looking for fresh talent. The team here approached LYIT to assess the quality of their legal graduates and, based on the feedback, created a Legal Internship. The course runs from June through to August and has a 100% recruitment rate for LYIT students.

We found LYIT Law students to be knowledgeable team players, who were well equipped to transition seamlessly into a busy international Legal Department. As well as having the requisite ‘text-book’ knowledge of the law, LYIT students participated in extra-curricular activities such as Street Law, which gave them clinical legal experience and an understanding of how the law operates in the ‘real world’ before they even reached Pramerica.

Our interaction with LYIT staff has been fantastic - we view them as true partners, who are evidently committed to student development. We look forward to continuing this partnership with LYIT into the future.
