Sociology

The Sociology degree is a four-year program offered by the University of Saskatchewan that may be completed at Parkland College. Sociology is the study of human social life, focusing on developing an understanding of changes in social structure and human interaction on an individual, societal and global level. Students in Sociology learn to analyze social issues and think critically about the world around them. A degree in Sociology prepares students for studies in areas such as criminology, journalism, law, medicine, nursing, planning and social work.

All classes can be completed at Parkland College through face to face classes and online distance learning from the University or Regina, University of Saskatchewan and Athabasca University. This bachelor degree is a bit more complex than many of our other programs because of the need to work within some tight regulations. Parkland College Cost of Attendance

International students who meet the entrance requirements will be sent an offer letter. Students will need to deposit a 50 percent program fee to secure a seat in the program and also to receive a letter of acceptance. One you have received the letter of acceptance and have been enrolled for the program, the remaining fee can be paid on or before the commencement date of the program.
