The BSc (Hons) Environmental Psychology enables students to develop skills and knowledge in the application of psychological theory and research to human interactions in a wide range of environments.

From the impact of living and working environments to productivity and wellbeing to factors which encourage pro environmental behaviours, the programme provides you with an understanding of the dynamic ways in which we interact with our environments and how these shape our individual and societal priorities.

Teaching and learning on the programme are research-led and informed, enabling you to develop transferrable skills in data management and analysis using a wide range of both quantitative and qualitative methods. The programme adopts a broad, integrative approach to environmental psychological inquiry drawing on core research and theory from across the wider discipline. You will also develop knowledge of the major professional divisions within The British Psychological Society (BPS) and gain practical insight into professional practice from visiting practitioners.

The programme also provides eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartership with The British Psychological Society (Subject to accreditation). You will be immersed within a contemporary curriculum based on innovative research and study the reciprocal relationship between human behaviour and the environments we inhabit.
