Where our graduates work

Over the past decade many of our students have been successful in obtaining HRM positions in a number of public and private organisations, such as Assistant Recruitment Officer, HR Assistant and a HR Graduate Internship within the NHS, HR Advisor, HRD Officer, HR Manager, Payroll Officer, Recruitment Consultant and Training Manager. Others have become Business Development Analysts, Marketing and Sales Assistants and a Business Centre Manager.

Throughout your studies, our focus will be on practice-led learning, encompassing informed research, using real-world case studies and role play (skills practice) to enhance your essential practical and academic leadership and management skills. We will teach you how to apply your learning to real-life scenarios, using ‘live’ collaborative briefs, which have previously included Coca Cola, Primark, Sports Direct; Apple, Amazon and Qatar Olympics, so you can see for yourself the impact and influence of good human resource management on successful business performance.

We will encourage you to use your student membership of CIPD to engage with field trips to conferences, as well as attending local and national branch events, so that you engage with employers, building your professional networks and accessing the latest research and thinking. Previously talks have included the Director of Perspicuous Limited, who discussed the issue of ‘unconscious bias’ by managers and senior leaders.

On graduation, you will be able to enter the workforce and/or pursue further professional HRM/HRD qualifications, such as the Advanced CIPD Level 7 or an MA Human Resource Management.

Our International Student Hub offers information on entry requirements for your country, as well as contact details for agents and representatives should you need more advice.
