About Radiography (diagnostic Imaging) - Bsc (hons) in Keele University

This course prepares you for an exciting career path. It will equip you with the skills to work at the cutting edge of technology within the medical sector. Diagnostics play a vital role in every patient's care pathway and for approximately 90% of all patients, this will involve some form of diagnostic imaging performed by radiographers.  

Not only will you learn the techniques to produce accurate and timely diagnostic images, you will also learn to understand and manage the patient’s needs, delivering evidenced based care safely and effectively. You will learn about the science and technology of diagnostic imaging and how this impacts this dynamic field of clinical practice.  

By studying radiography at Keele you will also benefit from integrating with healthcare students from other professions in the faculty, promoting the importance of working in a multidisciplinary team.   

When on placement, you will learn in a variety of clinical settings such as the University Hospital of North Midlands, which is suggested to boast one of the largest and busiest Imaging Departments in England.
