Overview

This course specifically prepares you for studying our BA (Hons) Events Management degree. It will help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to study for an honours degree, even if you don’t currently meet the academic requirements.

Once you’ve passed, you’ll be ready to start your degree course. That means your degree will take four years, or five years if it includes a work placement or year studying abroad.

From law for event professionals to creative event design, on our full degree we give you the knowledge you need to succeed in all parts of the events industry. But you’ll also have the chance to specialise in specific events by choosing subjects that interest you.  

Outside the lecture theatre, we offer plenty of opportunities to help you gain hands-on experience. You could complete an industry short course, volunteer at events, or work on live projects with our industry partners. There’s also an opportunity to spend a year on placement to put your skills into action.
