About Business Economics Bsc in Queen's University Belfast

This degree allows students to develop their understanding of Economic techniques whilst also learning about the principles of Business Management. Students in Business Economics should have an interest in using economic theory and thinking in applied business settings. This degree has less of an emphasis on using mathematics compared to a traditional economics degree and the programme fosters numerical skills through the use of up-to-date business applications.

• There is also the opportunity to study or work abroad, supported by schemes such as Erasmus and Study USA.
• The Study USA programme provides students with the funded opportunity to study for a year in a US university.

• The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.

An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).

English language requirements (one of the below):

•  IELTS: 6.5 minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
• TOEFL iBT : 90 with minimum marks as follows:  Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20,Writing - 17
• PTE: 62 overall with minimum of 51 in each component
