About Management (leadership & Change) MA in Regents University London

The Leadership & Change pathway equips you with the knowledge and skills to become an agile leader and changemaker.

To be a successful leader in today’s climate, you must be able to effectively respond to cultural shifts and technological advances. This pathway will give you the skills to recognise and maximise new opportunities to successfully navigate the constantly shifting business market.

To inspire others, you need to radiate confidence, motivate different types of employees, and offer a clear vision while adapting to change. Our MA Management programme will help you explore a wide range of leadership styles, and encourage you to make a difference in work and in your community.

This programme takes a holistic approach to management. You'll develop your personal as well as your professional characteristics, and build your people skills. You'll be challenged to assess your own strengths and weaknesses, and dig deep to improve your self-reliance and resilience.

By studying our MA, you will:

  • Learn to act with confidence
  • Think critically and decisively
  • Understand how successful leaders work
  • Discuss and assess different leadership styles
  • Explore the emotional and social aspects of leadership
  • Plan your own development

This is a practical programme, designed to prepare you for the hurdles and opportunities you'll face in global business. Our alumni have harnessed the skills they've learned to take control of corporate organisations, startups, and family businesses.

Every leader is different. As part of a diverse and dedicated group of students, you'll immerse yourself in the study of a variety of management practices. Your group will explore how certain managers get results, and thrive in challenging and changing environments. Through projects and collaboration, you'll also discover that being a leader isn't just about acting alone.

This MA will transform your attitudes toward management, and show how you to combine the latest thinking and theories with the values that set great leaders apart. You will also get the chance to probe deeper into areas that interest you, such as business analytics, international negotiation, coaching or running a family enterprise.

Our highly experienced tutors will guide you on the road to becoming a more rounded and dynamic manager. We offer individual guidance and support from staff who have excelled in academia, community organisations and thriving businesses. Our careers staff will also draw from a strong global network to help you plan and secure your next move.

Regent's is based in the heart of Central London, surrounded by some of the most prestigious businesses. We draw from these companies to secure guest lecturers who have extended the limits of what was considered possible, and will show how to apply your knowledge to real business situations.

In your final term, you can either:

  • Test your research and analysis skills by completing a dissertation
  • Carry out a business project, exploring solutions to a real business issue
  • Plan out the concept for a business start-up, spotting an opportunity and exploring the market

You will leave Regent's with a broad knowledge of what it takes to bring people together and push them further.

The programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). If you choose to join as student members of the Institute (students have a specific period to register) and complete mapped modules within the MA Management, you will receive a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership
