About Media BA (hons) in Robert Gordon University
    This media degree incorporates both the theoretical and practical aspects of the media industries. It will help you build a portfolio of practical experience and provide you with the knowledge and skills to pursue a specialist career in media.
We have strong links with industry to ensure our course content remains up to date and relevant for the real world of contemporary media. There is a great deal of practitioner input, incorporating a range of guest speakers and live client projects. Our partnership with STV2 provides you with industry training in marketing, audience segmentation and content creation.
You will have a number of opportunities to enhance your practical experience through your involvement in RGU Film, RGU TV, RADAR Magazine and working in the student radio station.
 
    Academic qualification equivalents
	- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.
 
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).
English language requirements (one of the below):
	-  IELTS: 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
 
	- TOEFL iBT : 80  with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20
	Writing - 17 
	- PTE:56 overall  with minimum of 51 in each component
