The Accountancy group is a very active research group that focuses in particular on the broadly defined areas of:
- International financial accounting
- Social and environmental accounting
- Corporate governance and regulation
- Accounting education
- Management accounting
- Public-sector accounting
- Critical perspectives on accounting.
Our Research
Accountancy staff foster collaborative interdisciplinary and international research which further strengthens its research base.
Careers
Graduates go into Public and Private Sector Accounting and Management, Fund Management, Stockbroking, Investment Analysis, Banking and Financial Services. Many also continue to develop their career in Academia internationally.
