About Nuclear Engineering Science, Fdeng in University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN)

Working already in the nuclear sector you will know the importance of nuclear to providing a safe, stable and carbon neutral energy source from power generation to submarine propulsion. You will also understand how integral engineering is to the nuclear sector and just how important engineering innovation is to the nuclear lifecycle together with effective project management to deliver not only successful decommissioning but also new nuclear power sources from small modular reactors to fusion to the thorium fuel cycle.

To develop your career we offer a comprehensive mechanical engineering based foundation degree course on a part-time basis.
