About Global Criminology in University of Roehampton

The University of Roehampton's MA Global Criminology will help you gain the skills required to explore and develop your research. The course content draws on a diverse range of Social Science disciplines such as criminology, law and sociolegal studies, psychology, sociology and human rights

Our programme comprises three core modules and a number of optional modules. The core modules include: Introduction to Global Criminology, which introduces you to key criminological theories and their application to global problems of crime and justice; Researching Global Criminology, an advanced research methods module that teaches you the core skills required in conducting criminological fieldwork; and a dissertation where you will lead your own empirical research project with the support of an expert supervisor. Optional modules offer a range of specialisms drawn from our experts' research fields.
