About Sport And Exercise Nutrition in University of Roehampton

Our Sport and Exercise Nutrition MSc draws upon the excellent postgraduate Sport and Exercise and Clinical Nutrition programmes giving you the opportunity to critically examine the theoretical bases of science in understanding sport, exercise and nutrition and their practical application within physiology, metabolism, and biochemistry.

This programme will enable you to gain a critical appreciation of a multi-disciplinary approach to contemporary issues in sport and exercise science and nutrition, along with the assessment of performance and support for the exerciser and athlete. In helping you build on your practical skills, this course will enable you to understand the relationships between theoretical concepts and current techniques of assessment and support, through a range of practice-based learning and assessment where you will benefit from the feedback of staff and peers.

You will become a part of the Sport and Exercise Science and Health Sciences research groups enabling you to collaborate with our academic staff and providing you with a unique insight into how intensive research guides and informs professional practice in the field.

You should usually hold a second-class honours degree (certain programmes may require a 2:1) from a recognised  university.For admission , you must include academic qualifications (certificate and transcript), a valid English language qualification, a personal statement and two references.
