About Clinical Rehabilitation And Mental Health Counseling, M.s. in California State University, Fresno

The M.S. in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling is a 60-unit CORE accredited program that aims to prepare professionals who are culturally competent, and able to provide rehabilitation and mental health counseling to individuals with disabilities in an ethical manner while adhering to the Code of Professional Ethics and Scope of Practice for the profession. Students have the ability to pursue certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and National Certified Counselor, as well as undergo requirements that position them for the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor credential. Admission Requirements

In addition to the admission requirements listed in the Graduate Education Program section of this catalog, M. S. in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic qualification equivalents

• All university marksheets, transcripts and *degree certificate with literal English translation. Secondary school (high school) documentations are not required.  

  *Degree certificate (or diploma) is available at the time of applying for admission.

English language requirements

•     TOEFL – 80 iBT, or
•      IELTS – 6.5, or
•      Pearson’s Test of English - 53, or     iTEP – 4.5
