On Pace's New York City campus, our 40-credit science-based Forensic Science degree can be completed in two years of full-time study. Successful candidates have majored in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, forensic science, or a pre-medical platform as an undergraduate. The curriculum prepares students for immediate work in forensic labs and connects them to a variety of job options.
Our programme allows students to intern with investigative teams in New York City at major crime labs, and after completing programme requirements, students will be able to begin working in a forensic laboratory or apply for admission to medical or dental schools or pursue advanced graduate studies in forensic science, biology, or chemistry. Drug analysis, arson accelerant identification, genetic sequencing, and proteomics are all areas where students can do research.
