Bangor University is situated on the coast of North Wales, some 450 kilometers northwest of London.

The University is made up of three colleges that house 14 academic schools, as well as more than fifty independent research centers that offer courses covering the Arts, Humanities and Sciences.

The university main campus is in Bangor and also has part of its School of Healthcare Sciences in Wrexham.

 Bangor is an attractive, student-centered city in northern Wales, set between the mountains and the sea. It has been described as the best university setting in the United Kingdom.
