The New Jersey Institute of Technology, usually known as NJIT, is a public polytechnic university in the state of New Jersey. Newark Technical School was founded in 1881 and renamed NJIT in 1975. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education has granted it accreditation. New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is the largest technological university in the New York metropolitan area. The institution boasts state-of-the-art facilities on a 48-acre campus in Newark and a solar observatory in Big Bear Lake, California, totaling more than 2 million square feet.

The university is a top-ranked public research university that provides over 125 degree programmes to undergraduate and graduate students, ranging from STEM fields to architecture and design, as well as management and humanities. Newark College of Engineering

New Jersey Institute of Technology Scholarships/Financial Aid

Scholarships, private loans, non-NJIT Academic Excellence award, and Albert Dorman Honors College Scholarship are all available to international students. Nearly 80% of undergraduates at New Jersey Institute of Technology receive financial help, grants, and scholarships, with 92 percent of first-year freshmen and transfer students receiving financial aid, grants, and scholarships.

Foreign students are eligible to apply for school loans and international scholarships even if they are not qualified for federal help. The Non-NJ Academic Excellence Award, which is based on academic achievements, provides the full tuition costs for international freshman candidates. If the candidate maintains a 3.0 GPA (equal to 83-86 percent in India) and Satisfactory Academic Progress, it can be renewed for up to 8 semesters.
