About University of Houston - Clear Lake

The University of Houston Clear Lake is one of the University of Houston System's four educational institutions. The public university's campus covers a total area of 524 acres. Its campuses are in the Texas cities of Pasadena and Houston. The university's branch campuses are in Pearland and Texas Medical Centre.

The university has a number of colleges, as well as a number of centres and institutes that house distinct disciplines of study. The college of business has departments dedicated to accounting, general business, healthcare administration, management, management information systems, decision sciences, economics, finance, and marketing, as well as a centre for executive education.

Centers and institutions in the college of education include teacher professional development centres, educational programme centres, diagnostic testing, professional development opportunities, reading, writing, spelling, and study skills tutoring, learning resources review centre, professional development laboratory schools, and language and culture research centre. Counseling, special education, and diversity, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership and policy analysis, literacy, library, and learning technology are only a few of the institute's stream-specific departments.

Art schools for children and young adults institute, centre for autism and developmental disabilities, exercise and nutritional health institute, and psychiatric services clinic are all part of the college of human sciences and humanities. Clinical, health, and applied sciences, communication and studio arts, liberal arts, psychology, and social and cultural studies are among the college's departments. The institution also features a science and engineering college with cybersecurity institutes and robotics software centres. Biology and biotechnology, computing sciences, engineering, environmental science, mathematics and statistics, and physical and applied sciences are among the college's departments. Online graduate, undergraduate, and certificate programmes are also available at the university. The university provides 17 degree programmes and nine certificate programmes in total.
